Utility Mapping captures the true location of utility assets by utilizing precise GPS equipment. These measurements feed directly into mapping software to produce accurate GIS files—typically achieving sub-meter or even centimeter resolution—ensuring safer, more efficient planning and excavation.
Our Process
Our technicians use electromagnetic locators to trace metallic pipes and cables. Data is also collected on non-conductive utilities such as storm/sewer. We mark everything clearly with color-coded paint or flags. After carefully tracing out all utilities on site our team compiles a site report and or utility map to ensure a crystal-clear understanding of what lies below.
